Off-page search engine optimization is the things one do to drive more and more traffic on their blog/website with different means i.e by doing other things from whatever we do for on-page search engine optimization, to make it insanely viral in public or to get better SERPs (SEARCH ENGINE RESULT PAGES) ranking.

Very first things ill like to say if you are starter or new in the world of blogging then please do focus on ON-PAGE SEO before you go for OFF-PAGE SEO.
Social networking sites is one of the most important factor responsible for off page search engine optimization. In today's world people do spend lots of time on social networking sites so it have became one of the key places for every blogger to advertise or promote their blog content.
Having a social media fan page and profile enables friends of friends to connect, without any extra effort and can can utilise this opportunity to enhance their blog or website's promotion for free and in reliable way using readers attraction technique which i have explained earlier on my on- page optimization.
Every blog and website owner must have their profile or fan page, at least on first four social network portals i have mention below.
1.Facebook profile and fan page.
2.Google+ profile and fan page.
3.Twitter profile
4.LinkedIn
Search engine submission is one of the second most important things which is responsible for off-page search engine optimization. Every search engines have different algorithm of indexing various websites and blogs content so it is very important thing to submit and verify their site on various search engines like google, yahoo or bing, yandex,.. Etc for better SERPs (Search Engine Result pages) ranking.
Generating BACKLINKS is also one of the most important thing for off-page search engine optimization. You can generate backlinks in many ways like
1. Questioning and Answering on different blogs or website based on same NICHE as of yours.
2.Guest Posting.
3.Forum Posting.
4.Link Exchange Strategies/ Link Baiting.
5.Blog Reviewing Method.
PS: Do take care to get backlinks from those sites only which is based on same niche as of your, for QUALITY BACKLINS. Be away from paid backlinks and backlinks from sites having adult or violating things on their blog/website.
Now days people don't consider it as important part for search engine optimization, but as per my opinion it do also take lot of credits for being a successful blogger. It can be done in two ways firstly directory submission on general blog directories like DMOZ, ZOOMINFO, YAHOO DIRECTORY etc . and niche based blog directories like ALLTOP, FUELMYBLOG, FINDTECH... Etc. Many blog directories give paid blog submission, will suggest not to go for paid until one get successful blogging career.
This is also one of the important thing for off page search engine optimization. Sharing of your own created photos and videos with the link of your website in descriptions, can drive lots of traffic on your blog.
PS: before uploading name the photos and videos with matching keywords ending with your website name (do this in your post as well as social media sites too).

3.Youtube.
4.Dalymotion. Etc
In today's scenario Advertisement is also one of the most effective method to get your blog hitting publics mind. It costs depending upon the type of promotional media one is using. I will suggest starter bloggers to not consider this part until they get blogging as a successful career opportunity.

1.On TV Advertisement.
2.On Radio.
3.On Newspaper.
4.On Facebook (using paid promotional tactics)
5.On Web Using Google AdWords.
If one is getting even a single unique visitors from different sources of net then one should work for it. SOCIAL BOOKMARKING SITE is one of same kind, search engine do check various social bookmarking sites along with our content on it and its usefulness making it more search engine friendly which may result in better SERPs rank.
